The Slimline Ammo Strip is a modular ammo carrier that attaches to the shoulder strap of our Trekker pack (or any webbing up to 1-1/2" wide). Available in three versions, it gives 14 handy rounds of .38-.45" body-diameter pistol or rifle ammunition (rifle uses wider elastic), or 8 handy rounds of 12 or 16, or 16 and 20-gauge ammunition.

.223/5.56mm 30-30 Win. .308 Win./7.62mm NATO 30-06 and similar.Note that the difference between pistol and rifle versions is just the width of elastic. The pistol version uses narrower elastic, but will hold rifle cartridges with more of the case exposed.
The padded body uses a Velcro wraparound closure to attach to any webbing strap up to 1-1/2" wide, including the Trekker shoulder and waist straps.
Company president Ralph used our Trekker pack with the Slimline Ammo Strip for shotshells while bird hunting in south-central Arizona and found the combo was just right for a day in the country not too far from civilization. The Trekker had enough room for a lightweight nylon rainjacket, snacks, a water bottle and the remaining shotshells in the outer pocket that the ammo strip didn't hold for immediate reloading.
