The included 1" wide shoulder strap attaches to the pack's twin D-rings. They feature a rear low-profile pocket with a Velcro closure. We include a piece of fitted closed-cell neoprene foam that can be inserted as rear padding or to breakup and mask the outline of a firearm kept in that pocket. This is not meant to be a formal holster pocket, but can function that way and let you have a pistol with you when you otherwise might not.
