3. eBay

You can never go wrong with eBay as long as you know how to navigate the site. It’s a great place to sell all kinds of products from dresses to shoes to handbags! The best thing about eBay is that you can sell your handbag at the best price. You can set its price (whatever seems appropriate to you), strike a deal with the right buyer, and enjoy the money you make out of it.

eBay is one of the most popular sites when it comes to selling and buying products in the digital world. Hundreds and thousands of users use this website every day. Keeping this in mind, you’ll never struggle when it comes to finding the ideal buyer for your designer handbag.

To sell your item on eBay, you have to first make an eBay account. Next, you have to select the “sell” option at the top of the eBay page. If you have to sell more than one designer bag, create a list. Confirm your details and pay the eBay fees after choosing your preferred payment method. You may also be asked to verify your identity for security purposes. For this, you have to enter your telephone number or credit card number.

For additional help, you can visit the Seller Information Center.

4. Amazon

There are times when you buy a product, but it doesn’t turn out to be the same product that you ordered from the website. Since designer bags are a big investment, you don’t want your money to go down the drain. In times like these, you can consider selling your designer handbag on Amazon. To successfully market your designer handbags on Amazon, you’ll have to sign up as a seller.

Fresh, new products that still have their price tag on are very easy to vend off on Amazon. However, if it’s a second-hand product, then it may be hard to sell it off. To successfully sell your designer handbag on Amazon, you have to make a seller account, of course. First, go to services.amazon.com. Scroll down and click the “selling on Amazon” link. Here, you’ll have to choose whether you want to “sell as an individual” or “sell as a professional.” For beginners, it’s ideal to sell as an individual. Keep in mind that Amazon charges $0.99 per sale. In the case of a professional seller, Amazon charges $39.99 per month. Once you’ve decided on your status as a seller, you’ll have to fill out the required information. Once you’re done with that, you’ll become an official Amazon seller.

5. Rebag

Rebag is a great online store where you can buy and sell your premium bags. Bear in mind that they don’t entertain all kinds of designer bags. They have a strict policy and accept bags accordingly. Before you think of selling your designer bag on Rebag, check out the list of designers they accept.

As a Rebag seller, you’ll be required to send them good-quality photos of your item. You won’t be selected to sell your handbag if it has the following issues:

  • Visible tear and wear
  • Dark or worn-out handles
  • Visible scratches and stains
  • Noticeable fading or discoloration
  • Obvious pen marks or other marks
  • Missing embellishments
  • Heavy creasing or peeling
  • Broken or loss of handle

6. Vestiaire Collective

Vestiaire Collective is one of the most popular go-to resale websites out there. The site offers you the chance to sell your designer bags in two ways; either sell it yourself or allow the professionals to do it for you. In order to sell it yourself, download the Vestiaire Collective app first. Create a list of handbags you want to sell. Upload their photos and describe them in detail. The brilliant team of Vestiaire Collective will optimize your product’s visibility online so that it reaches a wide customer base.

As soon as someone places an order, ship the item to the team of Vestiaire Collective. They will evaluate your product before sending them off to the buyer. As soon as the item gets to the buyer, you’ll earn a commission, i.e., up to 80% of the selling price of your product.

However, if you want the team of professionals to sell your designer handbag, click on “We Sell It For You.”  The consignment service will take care of everything from selection to free pickup to the product’s photography to cost setup. They will make sure to sell your products, and you earn profit thereby. You may get the chance to earn up to 75% on your items sold.

I have to disagree with some platforms mentioned above. Best places to sell your bags are through smaller companies. Great example would be LVLENKA on instagram or CONSIGNTIMES. Low commission and quick turnaround. Plus, great feeling of supporting a small business.
