Flapped for function, our Dark Brown Regency Fall Front Trousers replicate the way things were centuries ago. This distinctive look first gained popularity during the French Revolution and then hung around until the mid 1800s.

This particular reproduction has been improved with the modern-day convenience of a hidden button fly as well as hidden suspender buttons (on the interior of waist band). An adjustable buckle belt at the back waist offers a custom fit. Unlined.

Fashioned from a blend of 58% cotton, 39% polyester and 3% spandex. Imported. Dry clean only. Available in sizes 30-48. Also offered in several colors.

Our fall front trousers are sized similar to modern trousers. However, these trousers do sit higher on the body than modern trousers. Therefore, if you your belly is larger than your waist, use your belly measurement as your size. Otherwise, use your waist measurement.

Our trousers come with a 37 inch inseam. If you need them shorter, you will need to have them tailored locally to your desired fit.

Trousers

They fit perfectly. Very comfortable. The reason they have 4 not 5 stars are the braces. They braces came undone twice and I am not sure if the trousers need larger buttons for the braces or if the leather is to soft on the braces.

Once again a well made item. It does run true to size. The first two blouses I purchased were a bit more generous in the bust. I would have returned it but I am afraid the armhole might have been too large as in modern clothing. Period clothing is quite fitting in this area renders a more true look. I'm fussy. Just might have to lose a few pounds.
