Generally, men slipped into smoking jackets to enjoy cigars and cigarettes at home because they were sent to separate rooms to smoke away from the ladies and the rooms tended to be cold. Thus the smoking jacket was born so men could be both stylish and warm.

This dashing smoking jacket with notch lapel features a soft, plush exterior made from 100 percent cotton velvet. The interior is fully lined with satin-finished polyester. Pockets galore including two waist flap pockets, one breast pocket, and three interior pockets.

Sizing Notes

Our coats are made with typical American sizing, meaning your chest measurement (in inches) is the size you should choose.

To measure your chest: Raise your arms slightly and measure just under your arms. Be sure to cross over the shoulder blades and the fullest part of the chest. If your belly measures larger than your chest, use your belly measurement for coat size.

Longs: If indicated in the selection list (e.g. 46L,) long sizes may also be available. Longs are approximately 2" longer in the back and sleeves.
